Vocal health strength and power

Topics covered

Vocal anatomy Understand your voice and how it works to enable you to sound strong  control pitch and tone and communicate confidently

Breathe Support your diaphragm and increase capacity to give your voice its fuel

Release tension Learn how to relax muscles around the larynx, throat, tongue and jaw that may be inhibiting the sound and clarity of your voice

Alignment and posture, learn optimal posture for regular speaking,  presenting and communicating

Sounding Develop a free flexible tone and explore the musicality and range of your speaking voice and apply it to text

Power Explore resonance and projection, develop depth, command authority without shouting and straining your voice.

Vocal stamina learn how to use challenging phrases, tongue twisters, and words to improve your diction and pronunciation and develop your unique sound

You’ll receive friendly feedback throughout the course.

Course 3

How to deliver an effective, interesting and engaging speech, presentation or pitch

Topics covered

Creating your presentation looking at the structure and the message of your speech or presentation 

How do you sound? sound more interesting, engaging and keep your audiences attention by learning how to use tone, pitch, breath control, pace and projection.

Vocal habits  Mumbling, stuttering, accents, awkward pauses, how to control filler words such as ‘erm’ and ‘um’ 

Physically support your voice  How many hours do you speak during the day or during long speaking engagements? learn how to support and maintain a healthy voice from start to finish 

Breaking the 4th wall  Engaging with your audience

One day courses start at  9.30am and finish at 4.30pm or over two mornings or afternoons sessions  9.30 am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.30pm 

Topics from all  3 courses can be combined to run over two days 

All courses are delivered after a consultation to determine the requirements of your team and individuals. Bespoke courses can be created and delivered at you convenience.
